Jeremy Cherny is the founder and president of Tobin Solutions based in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Mr. Cherny received a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1989.
Beginning his IT career in 1982, he began consulting, selling, and supporting the original IBM PC. In 1990, he joined Firstar Information Services Corporation and served in a variety of roles including systems development and technology research and architecture. He later decided to leave this position and work on his own full-time. He worked out of his apartment (at his dining room table to be exact) for a few years, then eventually moved into Milwaukee County Research Park’s Technology Innovation Center. After a few name changes, Tobin Solutions was born.
